If you run an enterprise which puts the planet first, then as editor of greengreengreen, I salute you. And I would love to help promote your eco friendly business.
My name is Mark Campbell, and I have been a journalist for more than 30 years. In that time, I have done my best to educate and inform people from all over the world about the dangers facing our natural world, and what actions we can take to combat these.
I try to walk the walk, as well as talk the talk. I became a vegetarian in 1986, on my path to becoming vegan. I have been an environmental campaigner since becoming a member of several green groups, also in the late 80s.
I encourage people to move to an eco-friendly lifestyle by gradually swapping all the eco-nasty products they use, for sustainable ones.
By switching to a green energy supplier. Banking with an institution with ethical values. The list goes on and on, and many millions of us around the world are playing our part to make a difference.
It isn’t always easy getting that message across, or promoting your own green business, because the world of information, especially online, is an increasingly crowded place.
There is much talk about the post-pandemic world building back greener. I am optimistic and believe there is a growing desire across societies to make this a reality. But again, that makes the green space a crowded one.
How I can help you promote your eco friendly business
One of the best ways to rank on Google and Ecosia and other search engines, is by writing and posting fairly lengthy (1500 words-plus), informative, quality blog posts, crucially containing genuinely helpful details, as well as using the keywords you want to rank for.
Not every business has a member of the team who is sufficiently qualified to do this. Hiring a marketing team can be an expensive business.
Outsourcing the task is often the best option but can be hit and miss when it comes to getting results - worrying if it’s the latter and you’ve given someone a fixed term contract to do the work.
I launched greengreengreen on several platforms to emphasise the need to see everything through a green filter, to put the planet and the climate at the heart of everything we do.
With that in mind, I am keen on supporting and promoting any business, charity or other organisation that genuinely shares these values.
Here are the ways I can help you…

1. I can write a blog post for you and publish it on multiple platforms
Writing an article promoting your ethical business, products, services or mission is one thing; promoting it on the best platforms, where people will actually read it, is another thing. I am in a great position to help with both.
First, writing…
As I mentioned, I am an extremely experienced journalist, writer and blogger, whose work has been published across the world.
I am UK-based but I have also written for clients from Australia to Switzerland, to the United States, and many points in between. I can write in UK or US English, whatever is required.
I can write individual blog posts for you and your business. This gives you the comfort of knowing that you only have to pay an affordable amount for one post at a time (unless, of course, you wish to commit to a larger number).
I can include any environmental keywords you wish to rank for, if you have done this research.
What happens to your blog post?
- It will be sent to you and you can publish it on your own website, social media channels, email list, newsletter or wherever else you want to promote it. No restrictions.
- I will publish it on greengreengreen, which means it will appear on this website, on our Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest feeds, and in our weekly email newsletter.
- If the subject is of genuine news worth (I will help you to assess this), the article may also be published on Medium (domain authority 95/100) in our greengreengreen publication.
- It may also be published on Vocal in the ‘Earth’ community (again, I can assess if the article is a good fit for this).
I will explain the potentially massive benefits of publishing on Medium and Vocal in a minute, but all of these actions above will enable you to reach huge numbers of people who are genuinely interested in all things eco.
You can also use the article if you are considering advertising on your own social media channels, to target specific groups in your audience.
How can each of the platforms help your business?
Your own website
If your website does not yet have a blog, it needs one. If it has, you probably already know that a blog is a brilliant marketing tool.
It’s how you build a relationship with your customers and potential clients. It’s how you position yourself as the expert in your field. It’s how you come across with authority so that people grow to trust you (and trust = sales or action).
It’s also how to raise your profile and boost your search engine rankings. As long as the blog is well-written, SEO-optimised, of the perfect length, with correct grammar and spelling. You want to look professional, after all.
There is a growing desire among businesses to be seen to be green. If you can truly walk the walk on this score, a blog is the ideal place to promote your eco friendly credentials.
greengreengreen
Although this environmentally-aware website was only launched in 2021, the years of experience and knowledge behind it will guarantee that blog posts are creatively and effectively shared to a wide variety of platforms, including our own social media channels.

Medium
Medium is a blogging platform with 100 million monthly readers worldwide. Serious, informative, fact-filled articles work best here as people subscribe to enjoy a quality experience.
We have a greengreengreen publication on Medium, and any suitable blog post written for this website - or yours - can also be published on Medium.
It’s not even the 100 million readers that is the main benefit of being on Medium.
The domain authority of a website has a huge bearing on its chance of ranking highly on Google.
Most websites, especially fledgling ones, have a low domain authority, and struggle to get onto the front page of search engines.
It takes a long time - many years usually - to build up a domain authority. Medium has already done the hard work.
Medium’s domain authority is a whopping 95 out of 100. Very few websites can beat that. It means that blogs published on Medium have an excellent chance of being ranked highly on Google - as long as they are worthy, informative articles, of course.
That means YOUR article, with links to your website included, could benefit from the huge power Medium brings.

Vocal
Another platform similar to Medium is Vocal. After much campaigning by myself (though I am sure I wasn’t the only reason for this!), Vocal has introduced a new ‘community’ called ‘Earth’ - it’s essentially a publication like on Medium, where environmentally-related stories come together.
I can also publish here for you, and Vocal’s domain authority is also pretty impressive, at 64, meaning it, too, has a lot of success in getting ranked highly on search engines.

We are also on Pinterest, which is regarded as the third biggest social media platform (behind Facebook and Instagram), but is actually a visual search and discovery network and a huge driver of traffic.
Most businesses should seriously consider having a presence of Pinterest, as it gives the quickest returns without having to spend anything.
There are a huge number of daily searches for subjects related to the environment and nature, such as veganism and creating a zero waste home.
We can link to your article(s) from our own Pinterest page, but if you are interested in having your own Pinterest presence, we can help with that also.
2. You can supply your own article to be a Sponsored Post on greengreengreen
If you already have a media team - or write media releases yourself - you are invited to submit an article for publication on greengreengreen as a Sponsored Post.
It does have to be genuinely on the side of the natural world - we will not tolerate greenwashing - and if so, we will also promote your post across other platforms.
Paying a small fee for a Sponsored Post is a guaranteed way of featuring prominently on the greengreengreen website, and other channels.

We will plant a tree for every order placed - and you decide where
As an important part of greengreengreen‘s mission to help our natural world thrive, we have teamed up with Barcelona-based Tree-Nation.
This means we will pay for the planting of a tree in any one of their 31 project areas across three continents, for every blog article order we receive.
After you place an order, you will receive an email from Tree-Nation, which will enable you to plant your own tree in our greengreengreen ‘forest’.
That all sounds great… what do I do now?
All situations are different, require different approaches and are suitable for different platforms, so if you are interested in receiving a boost for your eco friendly store, business, charity, organisation, campaign or whatever else it may be, please get in touch using the form below and outline some details.
I will then get back to you as soon as possible with my suggestions of how we could could work together. There is no obligation at all at this stage to enter into any kind of agreement - let’s just exchange thoughts and ideas.
Thank you for your time, I look forward to helping you in any way I can.
